Rouhea Ravintola Roast

Had a horse fillet as main course and ordered it to be medium, chef did try to make it medium but it over cooked a bit and was almost well done. I’m not that picky about medium vs well done so it went through my filters. Service was good and smile was nice to see on waiters face. For menu there would be good to have few starters for people that are allergic to seafood or fish. Most starters were shells or fish based. Good variety of drinks and other main courses including spicy varieties. Dessert list would need a bit of refreshment. Had a pie with some strawberries etc and it was quite good, a bit too sweet for my taste though.

Good food and excellent service. Try Poppamies specials if you like your food spicy.
Nice athmosphere in pretty Tammela area. If you are nearby don’t miss it.

Roast is my favourite local restaurant with stylish dishes and a nice menu that changes a couple times a year. Their specialty are different chilli flavoured dishes where you can choose how *hot* you want it (e.g. Naga jolokia vs. Chipotle). If your favourite is not on the ‘chili menu’, you can spice your dish with Poppamies chili sauces to your liking. If you’re not a friend of chilli, they have plenty of dishes without it with ingredients from local producers, changing according to season.
The staff is friendly and restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I sincerely recommend it to visitors and locals alike.
