If you are looking for a place to dance and look flashy, this is the place. Go there around 10:30 pm to avoid big line but it doesn’t get crowded till 11:30. Most people are over dressed and with lots of make-​up. Typical superficial atmosphere but it seems popular.
Drinks were ok. Bartenders are very attentive and friendly. Lower level was still lounge but upper level turns into a club on the weekend.
Good to check out when you are in Helsinki but don’t expect too much.

A nice place with a stylish décor. I visited the grill during lunch hour, they serve salads for 10 € with optional two ingredients and a dressing (the base includes lettuce, tomatoes and watermelon). They also serve à la carte, but that was more to the pricey side.
The setting is really beautiful and they have a lovely terrace, but this place seems to be for the young and rich — and slightly snobbish.

Salad with choice of two proteins and bread on a salad bed for 10 €. You can also add little «sparkle» to the meal meaning glass of sparkling wine for 5 €.

This place reminds me of the gathering I had with the QH Hunter friends from all around the world. Most of us met up after our meeting, to come here and grab a drink before dinner and it was a memorable one. I can’t remember what I had but I had the local beer recommended by my Finnish friend. They are many selection of wine and food and even though we had only the drinks, its worth coming down to enjoy small snacks + drinks while chilling out. The ambience is great for group meetings and you can come also for lunch as there are great selection of warm food and salad to keep your day going.
Looking out of the window from the 2^nd level, you can enjoy the view of Esplanadi park.
This is definitely one of my recommended places in Helsinki! It may be pricey but worth it.

I recommend having a fresh salad and a glass of very tasty crispy rosé wine here on a warm summery day on their terrace in excellent company. Warning! Their ceasar salad contains too much sauce. And this is a terrible experience if the company is bad.

Exellent salad Bar. A lot of choises to build your lunch from. And gluten free bread.
A big space, you will always fit in.

Where do I start? This place is GREAT! For openers it’s a salad & wine bar. Salads = healthy in my book :-) And wine… need I say more?
The salad starts with a base of mixed greens and a slice of watermelon. From there you choose the additions (note: 2 are included in the base price then there’s an additional charge). There are several types of protein to choose from chicken, shrimp, salmon, grilled tofu, etc and other trimmings including dressing of choice. After completing your salad it will meet you at the register. There you choose your beverage of choice. I went with a medium glass of white wine (yes, I said medium… it’s common practice for the wine pour to be S, M or L. Sorry, no XL, XXL, etc).
After paying you have the choice of sitting inside where there is an amazing view of the patio and Esplanadi Park (an amazing place itself) or outside on the patio. I chose inside as the patio appeared to be full. The ambiance inside was nice. Very laid back and relaxing. After finishing my salad and wine (both were very good, although there was a bit too much vinegarette dressing for my liking) I enjoyed a great cappuccino and did some reading.
Teatteri is located in a great area. There are multiple high end retail stores nearby (Chanel, Armani, Louis Vitton, Stockmann, Manglani) as well as other pubs, bars and of course Esplanadi Park. This is a great place for lunch or a light dinner.

The Swedish Theater is one of the most prominent buildings in Helsinki. Situated between Mannerheimintie and Esplanadi the beautiful white building is easy to spot from everywhere. On the Esplanadi side it hosts Ravintola Teatteri which amongst other things offers amazing salads in their Wine & Deli area.
Those salads are probably among the best and popular ones in the center. Especially around lunch time you can have long queues here. So try to come a bit earlier or later to get your salad.
You can choose from a salad bar and pick two or more toppings. The basic salad already has lettuce, tomatoes and a piece of watermelon. Take e.g. the mango flavored chicken breast with some feta. And pick your favorite sauce as a dressing. You can also go with a traditional Caesar Salad with either chicken or shrimps.
Salads start from 9,70 € and Wine & Deli is open Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 to 22:00 and Saturdays from 11:00 to 22:00.

This is a great place for salads! Just arrived from Portland, Oregon, and needed a light meal. Service was fast, polite, and serving size was generous.

This is quite possibly my favourite lunch spot in Helsinki! The salads they offer daily are unbelievable, and fairly reasonably priced considering the location and ambience of Teatteri. Each salad comes with a base of mixed greens, watermelon, and tomato, and you can choose two toppings and your dressing. Sounds basic, but the possible combinations you can make are more than satisfying. Very swanky with great seating and a nice view of Esplanadi park — especially upstairs! Great for any occasion, though it seems to be popular for business lunches/​cocktails. I will definitely eat here again.
