Since the hotel is nearby the central station, the bus terminal from the airport, and main street, it’s in a very convenient location. The whole process of making a reservation, checking in and checking out was very smooth and efficient. All staff were very professional, quick to respond, and also welcoming. Although the hotel’s location is in the congested city center, inside the room was quiet. The room was functional and modern style. During my stay, it was kept clean and neat, free wifi worked very well. They have an expanded breakfast buffet. It was not only Scandinavian traditional food, but also you can pick up continental breakfast items. The buffet offers a variety of things, so surely you wouldn’t get tired of eating there if you stayed this hotel several days. They have a gym and a genuine Finnish sauna segregated for men and women. My only beef was they have only evening sauna except on the weekends.(They offer morning sauna on Saturday and Sunday.) As I’m an early bird, I wish I could take a sauna early in the morning. Overall, it’s not a richly luxurious, high-end hotel though considering the price, good enough for a business or private trip.

Centrally located and easy to walk to downtown shopping and restaurant district. Rooms basic but comfortable and quiet. Very nice breakfast. Very good traditional Lappi restaurant a few blocks away and, if warm and not raining, a nice bar in the main square behind to sit outside and have a beer.
