Visit this place every time I’m in the neighborhood. Nice variety of yummy bubble teas with gummy tapioca pearls with different syrups for a reasonable price. As a fan of bubble tea, I approve very much. Wish there’d be a closer place to get this fancy Asian treat, as it’s so popular nowadays all around the world. Alas Finland keeps lagging behind in this area…

Oh it was beautiful. The bubbles are so chewy and perfectly sweet. The milk tea was refreshing and perfectly sweet. Everything about this made it an oasis for me. I’m a bubble tea addict living in Dublin Ireland where there’s only one mediocre bubble tea place so this made me so happy. If only Helsinki were closer to Dublin… Note, the boba isn’t ready until about an hour after the store opening.

Just try the milk tea without sugar. It’s not bad, but not good enough comparing with the bubble tea shop in UK.

Really cozy and nicely decorated but small place. Even the bathroom is really nice and clean and not disgusting like they so easily are. They serve this new bubble tea there that seems to be famous everywhere else than in Finland. I think 4,5 € is a little it too much for it but I recomend to try it anyway. However I like to go there for their coffee which is easily better than in most places. They use Kaffa Roastery’s beans. The food side isn’t magnificent but satisfies a starving coffee drinker. They also have a soya milk. The man that serves there is apparently taiwanese and doesn’t speak finnish well but communicates in english willingly. I recommend the place if you’re looking for a good coffee and nice place.

Finally you can also enjoy Bubble Tea in Finland — at Café E2! In most bigger European cities you can find Bubble Tea cafés at almost every corner nowadays. In Helsinki it was unfortunately not possible though to get your hands on this fancy Asian drink. But a few weeks ago the first Bubble Tea café finally opened in Helsinki. The small Café E2 on Eerikinkatu is a really small but cozy place that is actually run by Taiwaneses. So the Bubble Teas couldn’t be more original. You get a glass for 4,50 €. They also have take-away. Of course you can also just have a normal coffee or tea there. Take your time when getting a Bubble Tea. If you really want to enjoy the taste and the exotic pearls it takes a while to finish a glass. Enjoy!
