Do you already have plans for the evening? Maybe some after work drinks in the afternoon and later some live music? Well, then you should head to Bar Loose. Located in Annankatu it is easy to reach from anywhere in the city center. Upstairs you can hang out with your friends and a cold beer from the tap. Bar Loose has good after work offers every day till 2 minutes before midnight. Later you can go downstairs for one(or two) or their regular gigs. They have live almost every day except for Mondays and Tuesdays. Check out their program for the upcoming days and weeks. Have a relaxed evening!

Went to loose for a gig this weekend, the place is awesome the prices are decent and the staff is really nice. They have an outdoor smoking area which i didn’t see much of in Helsinki the only tiny thing I would change is the lighting downstairs.

I have visited the bar twice: a couple of years back when my sons´s band was performing there. This time the band on stage had also a relative member. Well, to be frank: the guy in technics(mixing etc) seems to have very limited knowledge how the job should be done. The athmosphere is good anyway. The bar is upstairs and the live music in the cellar. Very friendly service: free ear plugs for those who suffer of the volume of music. Sodawater only 2 e/huge glass. I like the décor, old furniture mixed with newer. And by the way, they seem to get every once in a while good and wellknown performers. The home page is useful too in many ways. So, if you like live music, pack your earplugs and dig in!
