Cafe Emil

I went there for brunch on a Sunday, when they had a special offer for 89 DKK. The brunch buffet was very fair for that price, but I would probably not pay their regular price for it. There was a decent selection of warm and cold food, eggs, sausages, pancakes, yoghurt, muesli, bread and cold cuts, the standard stuff, but nothing extraordinary. I ordered a coffee and a glass of sparkling water with it and somehow ended up at over 160 DKK in total, which I think is quite excessive. The coffee was fine, though. I’m also not a fan of the fact that you have to order at the bar and pay immediately — I’d expect this from a bar or night club, but not for a café. Not sure this would be my first choice in Valby again, but giving 3 stars for the decent food at a fair price.
