i’m not vegetarian, but when i do cook meat at home then it has to be free range or at least organic. subsequently, i don’t eat meat so often since it is so expensive. but you get what you pay for; you can really taste the quality of care in these cuts. all the meat in the shop is certified free range except the chickens, but they are also treated well(just not certified). the butcher here is very sweet and can give you advice on the dish you’ll be using the meat in. if you are in a hurry for dinner, you can also pick up some danish liver pâté(a bit fattier and coarser than its french cousin) or the dish of the day, served hot with potatoes.
