Zoo Bar

The last time I was there the crowd was a bit younger, it was not even half full and there was no dj. It has changed a lot since last year unfortunately.

Meh is all I can really say about this bar. Me and a friend came here for a drink after dinner because we didn’t really know where to go and passed it while we were walking around the area. The place has a cool interior, but it seems like it can’t really decide if it’s trying to be a bar, a lounge or a club. We arrived at around 11.30 and it was half empty. Nevertheless, our drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive and the girl behind the bar seemed really stressed — so I can’t imagine what it’s like when busy. Plus my Espresso Martini wasn’t great.
The one thing I liked was the music, so I could see myself coming back with a group of friends if we don’t know where else to go and already have a bit of a buzz going.

I really don’t understand why people go here. I tried this place once, and was totally underwhelmed. This is a place that I feel like is trying to be the ”super cool trendy restaurant/​nightclub” and it just reeks of arrogance. The only reason I gave it two stars was because they have a few good dishes. However, the prices and attitude of the staff does not make this place worth a visit.

First time I was there, I had a good time. But the second time (August) I was the only one of a group that was not allowed to enter. What pissed me off more was that I was not told why. The guy was only keep saying «I can’t let you go in like that».
Apparently if you are not dressed up, you are not good enough to be a costumer. And there is no indication of dress code at the entrance or the web-​page, so I guess it is illegal not to let me in.
Anyway… there is no way in a million years to go back there and also try to keep my friends away too. Business who discriminate their costumers (I don’t blame the guy at the door, he has a boss who told him to do so) don’t deserve to have costumers at all.

Visited Zoo Bar a late Saturday night. Extremely crowded and quite expensive drinks. Some of the bartenders where very rude and refused to take our orders even though we had waited for 20 min. And the female dancers on the bar was just bad taste.

Very nice looking Bar in the centre of Cph, just off the main shopping street and next to a couple of good shops and not far from the cinemathek. I visited a late tuesday afternoon, had a very fine little burger and some beer. Service was great, they have free WiFi. I liked it.
