Best dining experience I had in Copenhagen. The food was amazing and the service was great. The bread was fresh and delicious and the flavored butter went great with it. Charcuterie was perfect, pumpkin soup poured on top of greens and seeds was original and tasty, and the chicken was as beautiful as it was delicious. I hope I get sent back for work if just for dining here.

Madsvinet had the best service we encountered in town, and fantastic food. The liquorice malt and seaweed honey breads were a great way to start and complimented the sauces in the main dishes.

Madsvinet er et hyggeligt og anderledes sted, personligt er jeg vild med deres stil, den gamle slagter der er lavet om til en rå restaurant, med stort åbent køkken. Hvor det er muligt lige at få et par ekstra kommentarer til menuen fra kokken, hvis du sidder i den«rigtige» ende. Maden er fantastisk, et enkelt menukortet, der ofte udskiftes. De kredser lidt ekstra om kunderne med en lille appetizer uden beregning. Begge gange jeg har spist her, har je fået Charcuteri, og den er skøn. Om sommeren bliver der sat borde og terrasse varmere op på enghavevej, rigtig hyggeligt! Min mave har været meget glad når jeg går der fra!

Very competent service, reasonably priced and relaxed-comfortable cool interior. I went there for a quiet dinner on a weekday with a girlfriend and we both loved it! LOVEDIT!!. It’s a bit pricy, but the cocktails are GOOD!(Only wish they would have gotten better glasses to balance out the luxuriuos prices…).
