I have a bit of an obsession with visiting foreign supermarkets when overseas, I don’t know what it is, but I rather like seeing what is available in other countries and also on the off chance if they have a British section, finding out what they think is the core elements of British food(usually baked beans, Worcester sauce and tea). Sadly Irma didn’t do it for me. The store was clean, but there wasn’t much of a variety of anything and the store labelling was initially a bit confusing(having the saving in as a bigger number than the actual price is a little odd to me). There’s probably nothing wrong with it, but it felt like I had walked into an express-type shop rather than a proper supermarket.

Clean, tidy, and expensive — welcome to Irma! I wasn’t all that impressed with this compact supermarket. The range of items was fairly limited(due to the size) and the pricing labels not clear for a foreign visitor. They also, randomly, had a small selection of Waitrose Cooks Ingredients items. Nothing wrong with the place, just not great.
