El Meson

One of my favourite Copenhagen restaurants. And why is that?
A bit about my habits.
I eat out a lot. I work almost all days, so having time to cook for me, my girlfriend or my friends does not happen often. But i gladly wander out to dinner, and i gladly spend what it costs, since good food feeds the soul.
Truth to tell, i often end up dining out 4 – 5 times a week.
So why El Meson?
1: Awesome service. But Spanish. Everything is a big chaotic and sometimes Very fast, sometimes a little slow. But nothing is neglected and if you like the southern mentality, this is perfect.
2: The menu and the food. Versatile but classic spanish, with a brilliant sangria on the menu. Everything shell-​fishy rocks my world here and they make potatoes my mother would be jealous of. Mind you, it is not Haute Cuisine, this is good food in good portions for good people.
3: The service. If Kiko is at work, its a ball, if he isnt… i havent been there without him being there, so i guess the world would be ending then. Service is always good, and at times a little confused in the charming way.
4: The location is awesome. Rural, but in the middle of Copenhagen, the place is warm and cozy.
To sum it up — This place is the whole package for good Spanish dining, but no one will panic if you didnt get the extra dish of shrimps, they will simply get it for you as damn quick as they can. Go there and order everything :)
