You know those days when you just had a couple of errands to run, which somehow turned into an impromptu shopping spree, followed by a quick stint to the gym, and all of a sudden, it’s much later than you’d foreseen and you’re quite hungry but don’t really want to make dinner? Well, it was on one of those days, and so instead of having to think about groceries, I opted for a quick dinner at the relatively new Chino’s. All in all, the impression was totally okay — the food here is classic«tex mex» as you’d know it from Taco Bell and the like. I got a burrito with pulled chicken, rice, and beans. My boyfriend ordered chicken quesadillas, but they must have accidentally given him the chicken tacos — or they REALLY don’t know what a quesadilla is supposed to look like! Everything was freshly prepared and tasted fine — bonus points for the fresh tomato salsa that came with the nachos. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, and we had to reiterate our order a couple of times for them, but they were friendly and accommodating. Overall, solid tex mex for fair prices.
