I was at the airport and craving sushi. There was a revolving sushi bar I wanted to try at ‘To Sushi’. However, they were closed. Instead u went to this place before they closed. They still let me in at the last minute and gave excellent service. Prices are better than the airport sushi.

As an all you can eat sushi restaurant goes, this place deserves four stars from me. Maybe I have seen too many bad«cheap» buffet sushi restaurants in Copenhagen, but that’s unfortunately a fact. First, this is a «on-demand» sushi, not a running one. It’s better this way when you know that the sushi is made on order, not that it’s been circling around since the dawn of time on the conveyor belt. You are given a paper with things to cross on a checklist and deliver it to the counter, you can order as many times as you want, but remember to finish your plates as leftover sushi(more than 3 pieces on the table) would give you a fine of 10kr each. Second, it’s pretty damn cheap price if you can eat a lot of sushi. 158kr for workdays all-you-can-eat menu is pretty alright. If you are one of those people with extra tiny stomach, forget it about it, maybe you will have your money’s worth better in other upscale sushi place. Mina K and I were both craving for sushi and I was starving, so at this point I felt like I got my money’s worth. If you’re really really frugal and looking forward to maximally filling your stomach at minimum cost, order the rice paper roll. Look ma, no rice! Third, although the ratio rice to fish sushi was hugely inflated due to the low price(see nr. 2), everything still taste good and fish was alright. Mina K felt disappointed with the nigiri, I was alright with it. Yum, sushi! What’s not to like. Sure, it’s not the same sushi from Karma Sushi or other more uspcale place, but if you have huge cravings for sushi and you’re not quite convinced whether your bank account could stretch it, you can go to this place!

I was craving sushi but I’m trying to save money for my travels next month. What to do. aha! All-you-can-eat sushi seemed to be the perfect solution. I had no problem booking a table here and I sheepishly said yes when the lady on the phone asked«sushi ad libitum?» It is 158 kr Monday to Thursday and a measly 10 kr more in the weekend. What you do is tick your orders off on the paper, they pick it up, and bring you the order. Though we were really hungry so we found that taking the orders up to the counter was faster. The rolls were well-formed and didn’t fall apart much. I made the mistake of ordering nigiri… it was not good. They make it with a LOT of rice and the fish is sliced very thinly. Well, they gotta make their money somewhere. A good thing to order is the rice paper rolls; you get a lot of fish and otherwise it is just salad and rice paper. However the quality of the fish is not great. I ate one piece of salmon rice paper roll and that was enough. It tasted strangely like nothing. I didn’t get sick though, so I can overlook it. All of the dishes are nicely arranged and made relatively quickly. You can see at least three people working behind the counter non-stop! They did forget a couple of our orders but we didn’t pay any extra for them so it didn’t really matter. Unfortunately this didn’t quell my sushi craving. The tamago especially almost made me laugh; I make it better at home. The taste of everything overall wasn’t so great and the rice wasn’t vinegared enough for my liking but we did eat a lot and certainly got our moneys worth. I do have to give them 3 stars though because it is AYCE sushi at a reasonable price with good service. If I go back, I will limit myself to: — Seaweed salad, I got two servings of this — Tempura shrimp rice paper roll — Inarizushi — Tobiko gunkan — Ebi hot, a simple roll and the shrimp is still crispy!

I’ve been looking for a good sushi spot for a while ever since I got to Copenhagen. I saw this place had an all-you-can-eat deal and decided to give it a try. The menu has a large variety of different rolls. Unfortunately everything has rice, no sashimi… My friend and I were so excited to eat sushi and ordered quite a lot. The waitress was very hesitant whether we were going to finish what we ordered. But we did! Never underestimate how much food girls can eat. Haha. The rice is a bit too dry. The ratio of rice to a roll is overwhelming. We also noticed that the green tea wasn’t green tea. It was a different type of tea leaf. They did forget a few items that we ordered… But we reordered during round 2. But nonetheless, we had a great meal and were stuffed.

Rigtig god service, selv på en rigtig travl fredag var der overskud til at smile. Men det vigtigste er nok at sushien er fantasifuld og rigtig godt lavet. Helt klart et sted jeg kommer igen.
