Visited this place around 2 – 3 times mainly for beer(they brew their own beer). They have a «beer of the month» varying from IPA to strong stouts or porters. As for food they serve mainly steaks, ribs etc. portions are not that big and prices are extremely high. Quality of food is very good overall but the prices are a big let down. Location is perfect, next to Town hall and Tivoli gardens.

Great ribs and homemade beer. Good for everyone. Great service and location. Next to Tivoli.

Absolutely awful. Minimal beer selection, lousy food, horrible service. I ordered the filet and I think what I actually got was flank steak, or horsemeat. Really tough cut of meet that was pretty tasteless. The beer wasn’t that good, a Carlsburg would have been better. And you can wave to your server when he’s looking right at you and he’ll ignore you. They come by your table to take your order, to deliver your food, and finally with your bill 15 minutes after you’re done. That’s it.

Apollo has a pretty small menu, but there are a couple good looking options. I came here in a large party, and while some ordered beef or burgers(which looked good) I stuck with something more traditional. My salad had nice spring greens, peppers, tomatoes, and a little parma ham(or similar). All of this was in a delicious dressing that I just can’t place. Maybe a little«curry» in there? I just don’t know, but it was good. Then my plaice fillet, which was quite large, served on a white hot cast iron plate with a medallion of herbed butter and some lemon wedges. The fish was good, very mildly flavored with a nice crust. It did need to be deboned, which I don’t know how to do perfectly cleanly, so there was some eating around pinbones. I wish it had been a bit more done — it was quite moist, but almost a little too moist in the middle. They did have one crazy rude/ineffective waiter, who we made the mistake of asking to bring the check… which never happened. We made a sport of watching this dude ignore people for most of the meal. But the rest of the staff were very friendly. English menus were no problem, and they also accepted my stupid non-PIN American credit card, which is a plus since I hate carrying around ridonkulous amounts of cash.

We had a nice evening there a couple of time ago. The area doe not look much like a party-neighbourhood but the restaurant is very nice. Almost gourmet-style. It was great fun to taste all the different beers and to see how they combined them with the very tasty food. Enjoy!

Excellent restaurant spécialisé en viande. ce resto/pub à la particularité de fabriquer sa propre bière. Attention prix élevés comme pour tout au Danemark :)

A micro-brewery serving locally brewed beer. The beer and food are great. But service is not the best thing about this place. Someone speaking Danish gets served quicker and the staff seems much friendlier to the locals.
