Great Vietnamese food! We had coupons for a five-course set menu. It was delicious, and more food than we could eat. Even on a Monday night, it was quite busy.

Vietnamese food can be hit and miss in Copenhagen, but i was very pleased with this place. The atmosphere was very open and inviting, the service was good, but i could see it may be a longer wait for your food if you were a larger group and the place was busy. I had the fried duck with steamed veggies and Vietnamese lemonade and it was very nice. I definitely would go back again especially for that duck dish. The only negative is some of the tables are very close together so you end up bumping into the chair behind you.

the first time i came here it was for dining week with a set menu. i loved the spring roll and beef phở appetizers but the main dish of some beef stir fry was a bit boring. the flavour of the phở broth was perhaps even better than that at nha trang. however the amount of herbs and sprouts we got with the phở was pathetic. a fluffy leaf of lettuce will not hide the fact that there are only two sprigs of coriander and and thirteen bean sprouts. also, there were only two slivers of chili so we had to ask our server to bring more. a few months later i was here again for a birthday party(yes, it is the same one ragnhild l. has described). as the twelve of us trickled in gradually but were not offered water, much less acknowledged. about 40 minutes after our table reservation time, they came to take the drink orders. a half hour later, the drinks came out but mine and another friend’s were missing. we managed to get a hold of a server(they all seemed to be avoiding eye contact with us for a while) and ask for our drinks again but they didn’t arrive until our food came. the lemonades were good but definitely not worth the wait. i got the chicken phở this time, which was pretty good but i regretting not ordering the beef phở. again the amount of herbs to go with the soup was paltry and i had to ask for more. the waitress was surprised but she did bring it to us. the kicker was that we were charged an extra sparkling water and when we convinced the waitress that it was a mistake, there was no apology. they really have to work on service for larger groups and the amount of herbs for the soup. all the other tables that were seated after us were getting attention from waiters and one table even got their food before us even though we ordered almost an hour before them. there are other places that serve decent phở in copenhagen so it will probably be a while before i come back.

A logistical nightmare eating here. At my birthday party we all(12 of us) waited 1,5 hours, while the waiters were busy welcoming the constant flow of new diners from Vesterbrogade — get organised guys! You had my booking for 10 days yet you could not manage it. The food: You served me rotten paprika(red peppers) on my birthday. No matter what else I write, I cannot get past the fact that you served rotten veggies to a vegetarian. A few people at our table had a nice dining experience though, the hot platters apparntly were nice. But for me, I will not venture here again, there are a few much nice Vietnamese places further down Vesterbrogade.
