Autobusové nádraží Florenc

Mi primera impresión es que sin importar que no sea un sitio muy grande es bastante ordenado y limpio!
Fue el primer lugar que pisé en Praga, había tomado micro desde Budapest. El consejo básico es cambiar dinero dentro de la estación y en lo posible pedir monedas porque las maquinas expendedoras de tickets para el subte solo funcionan con monedas.
Luego me dijeron que en las kioskos de ventas de periódicos que están dentro de la estación te venden tickets individuales.
Consejo: No comprar ticket diario a menos que se vaya a viajar mucho dentro de la ciudad y teniendo en cuenta el tamaño todo se hace caminando o en tranvía.
Al igual que toda Praga este es un lugar muy seguro.
Valor a Sept 2015 de un viaje individual: 24 CZK, mucho menos de 1 Euro.

The european bus-​travel market on the rise & prices dropping like crazy, people are more and more interested in exploring Europe again. But funnily enough, the larger cities have the worst Bus-​Stations i’ve ever seen!
First of all, if you build a large rectangular building and open it on two sides, there will be a draft (duh) — or rather a very cold wind that makes it quite uncomfortable to sit here for longer periods of time.
Secondly, if the only source of nurishment is a Burger King that has only one lane open for an endless stream of hungry people — you really aren’t making the peeps happy. Combine that with the Free Wifi situation (Free wifi for 15 Minutes? What, Seriously? That just plain sucks.) and you’re on your way to getting one star reviews.
On a more positive note, the whole place is in a very central location — there may be nothing much to choose from when it comes to food & coffee, but a lot of supermarkets & cafés close by. I really can’t give this place more than two stars, it’s just a shabby example of how not to build a Bus-​Station!

Since bus is nearly just as fast as the train option and nearly a third of the cost, my siblings and I ended up at Florenc B bus station. Also, the train times to Frankfurt from Prague weren’t necessarily convenient.
Things to note:
* Eurolines didn’t give us a platform #. But there’s a huge electronic timetable inside the bus terminal waiting area. The bottom of the timetable even counts down how many seconds before switching to the arrivals or departures table.
* To store luggage, 50 crowns per luggage. They store up to a calendar day. Opens at 5 am and closes at midnight.
* Free wifi
* A few eating options including Burger King
In conclusion, I’d definitely consider traveling in Europe via bus.

This is actually quite the impressive bus station especially given how many different bus companies all start here and the numerous places that the buses here can take you to. I’ve been to Budapest, Berlin, Bratislava, and Karlovy Vary with buses from this bus station. There’s free wifi in the main reception area and a Burger King amongst a few other food options which is always nice. The people at the reception area speak English which is also good.
My only complaint is that I’ve never been able to find some sort of time table that tells you when the buses are leaving. Perhaps it’s just me being unobservant… usually it’s okay if I take a Student Agency bus because the gate number is printed, but once I took a EuroLines bus where the gate wasn’t printed and it was frustrating that they didn’t just have one big timetable in what you would think would be a convenient, easy to see location like in the main bus terminal. It wasn’t a big deal though since I just asked one of the people working behind the desks and since they speak English it was all good.
tldr; great bus station and great starting point for anyone who is based in Prague and wants to take day trips to nearby places

Sitzmöglichkeiten und Touristeninformation sind wohl die einzig positiven Dinge hier. In den nahen Geschäften wird weder Englisch gesprochen noch verstanden, von Deutsch ganz zu schweigen.
Die Beschilderung ist quasi nicht vorhanden, Weg zur Metro, Bankautomat, Briefkasten etc., wenn nicht gerade eine große Herde in die richtige Richtung läuft ist man ziemlich verloren.
Mein Tipp für alle Neuankömmlinge ist erstmal erstmal direkt in die Touristeninformation zu gehen und sich dort um alles weitere zu kümmern– Ticket für den Nahverkehr zB., ich weiß leider nicht ob der Schalter eur annimmt, falls nich sucht euch einen nah gelegenen automaten und hebt dort geld ab– macht nicht den Fehler mehr als 2000 czk abzuheben, die Geschäfte in der Nähe wechseln große Scheine nur ungern.
