Their bistro upstairs offers salads, burgers, and omelettes. I got a small salad with yogurt dressing. A lot of the add ins cost extra, so be sure to ask which those are if you don’t want your salad price going up. If you just get the basics, the price is pretty good. I also got a veggie burger and maybe it’s because I haven’t had a real burger in a long time, but it tasted just like a real beef patty! It kind of disconcerted me because I am used to «garden» veggie parties made from beans and has a lot of spices. So props for that. The burger itself was ok in taste. I think they focused more on imitating meat than making the veggie patty flavorful.

A great variety of salads and sandwiches. You can make a salad just the way you want it by adding dozens of ingredients that are all fresh and in stock. Fresh homemade bread is great. The only issue is that burgers taste rather average. But if you go out for a vegetarian lunch or an early dinner you’re all good. But make sure that you’re okay with waiting in line during lunch time.

The grocery downstairs is fantastic, but the lines get annoying, which is a theme in this part of town. I tried the upstairs Bistro for the first time today. They are mainly a salad place, which I did not want because it was cold and wanted some warm food to go. The line is extremely slow — the whole experience took over ½ hour at 1:30pm for what is basically a cafeteria line. I put this down to disorganization and a slow and completely inattentive staff. The burger tasted fine, but when you order it to go, it comes without the wilted salad they normally throw on the plate. I also ordered soup for my friend, who found it poorly seasoned. I would say both were a bit overpriced even for this part of town. I wouldn’t call this fast food even though it is served cafeteria-style. It should be, but it just isn’t managed that well. Oh and the WiFi is present but it is password-protected, so effectively worthless.

I go there to grab quick lunch at least once per week, I really love their salads(in my opinion best in Prague) made of ingredients of your choice for with their delicious home-made dressings, but I am not really comfortable with waiting more than 20 minutes in line during lunch time to place an order. PS: Coming in evening is not a solution while many ingredients are not available…

The Delmart bistro upstairs from the supermarket is a perfect place for a lunch with a friend or a quick takeaway salad. It is located right next to the Andel metro entrance and serves salads, sandwiches and soups. I can really recommend the salad counter, as you can pick the ingredients for your salad, the items are fresh and the portions quite big. A salad with 6 ingredients costs 89Kc + little additional for a meat or cheese ingredient. When you enter the bistro you receive a card where all purchases are stored and you pay at the cashier when exiting the bistro. The service is also great, and as the bistro is newly opened and not yet discovered by all you don’t have to worry about queueing!

Delmart is a little market right outside of the Andel metro stop. I stopped in to grab some groceries while I was in town. They have a bistro in the upper level and the lower level is an upscale grocery market. The prices are extremely high for Prague. The place does look to be fairly new and is extremely open and clean. I rarely so that many people in the market the times that I visited. Most of the items looked to be imported from other countries. The grocery section is good for fresh organic produce and bread. I did discover my new favorite potato chips from the UK — Jonathan Crisps. I am now obsessed with finding these in the US. So far no luck. I’m having to resort to getting friends to call in favors from people in the UK to ship me these things.

Products are expensive. bistro has mid-prices, but they serve only salads, sandwiches and desserts with drinks. Portions are big. They have take away. The place seems to be new, so it is not crowded, I would even say it’s empty(so it is kinda weird to sit in a bistro completely alone: D) Btw: I didn’t like the salad I took, it had no taste at all. But Let’s be objective, I was the one who chose ingredients, so this might be my fault.
