Woohoo is damn right! We were recommended this place by a couple of locals as a true neighborhood joint. It’s situated in a residential neighborhood with nothing else in the area. We called to make a reservation and thankfully the gentlemen spoke just enough English that we were able to. The restaurant was already booked for the night so they made us a reservation for their brewery immediately next door. The menu was all in czech and the waiter was awesome and walked us through options. Their beer, no surprise was fantastic. We gulped it down as we inhaled everything coming to the table. The schnitzel was BOMB. Perfectly breaded and it didn’t fall off ATALL. The pork was succulent, well tenderized and incredibly delicious. It came with a potato salad with some diced carrots and a whole lot of mayo. Eat like the somehow skinny locals right? We also got the fried cheese with a spicy dipping sauce and to top it off, roast duck which was hands down the best thing we ate in Prague. Roasted for hours, unbelievably tender and drenched in a homemade spice blend. Service was super friendly and if I ever go back to Prague – I would eat only here and here alone. Total was $ 24USD for three girls including tip.
