The shop’s excellent vinyl selection and Martin’s helpful advice make Phono my favorite record shop in Prague. There are some real gems on those bins, and you don’t have to be an expert on Czech/​Polish/​Hungarian music to find them. I prefer to buy records in person, but after seeing how well Martin packed my records for me to carry onto my return flight, I wouldn’t hesitate to have Phono ship my next purchase directly to my house.

This shop is fantastic. I asked Martin to recommend some Czech music that was synth related and he sent me home with great ambient, funk, rock, and prog selections. I hope to be back here soon!
