Sheraton Santiago

Vine muchísimas veces a este Hotel. No es el mejor de la ciudad, no está ni cerca de serlo, pero es cómodo y tiene una gran relación precio /​calidad.
Sheraton tiene un problema común en todos sus hoteles: la modernidad llega muy lento. Al margen de que la estructura es muy de los 70s (los baños, las alfombras…), es imposible navegar por Internet a buena velocidad, y eso que es un servicio por el que te cobran (us$ 10 por día), algo impensado en la sociedad actual.
Tiene un restaurante en el que se come bastante regular, y un bar que ofrece lo básico, pero lo que se destaca es la atención del personal: todo el tiempo cuidan que te sientas bien y que estés atendido pero sin ser pesados, por el contrario, tienen un timing casi perfecto y considero que crear eso no es fácil de conseguir, así que punto para ellos!
La ubicación está muy bien: es lo suficientemente céntrico para que todo quede más o menos cerca, pero está lo suficientemente alejado para no sufrir los ruidos del tránsito.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times during my visits to Chile. The hotel and the rooms are nice. The food offered at the bar and pool side restaurant has always been very good. I recommended it.

A very nice hotel located near San Christobal. Swimming pool is very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was helpful.

Sheraton Santiago Hotel and Convention Center is located between a highway and a residential area. Just behind it is Cerro San Christobal, the hill recreation area that you can walk to. Our room was small, but beautiful inside. A comfy bed with quality linens that you don’t want to get out of. An indoor pool and an outdoor pool.
In the back is a huge pool area and beyond that a function area (where they were having a Christmas party function). I went back there to check it out to see how they do things in Chile. The kids were having a blast unwrapping their new toys and the Chilean cabernet sauvignon was flowing freely among the adults (Hence, they were having a blast, too). They could see I was a visitor, but they offered me wine and chatted with me. Very nice people and makes you think that Santiago is a pretty cool place to live.
I’ll give it five stars cause the Sheraton does it right. It’s one of the best hotels in Santiago and has a beautiful ambience. Sheraton has a Four Points close by, but this one was just fine for us.
