Who wants artisanal yogurt, corn syrup free jam, real cheese mixed with oregano and spices? ME ME ME. Pucara in Vitacura is a tiny little store that sells all natural yogurt, jams, manjar (a sweet and condensed milk like spread that is ideal for pancakes) and a variety of cheeses.
My favorite cheese that they offer are definitely their queso fresco, which is a soft white cheese (I compare it to fresh mozzarella). Their queso chanco de aji (strong white cheese with mixed in chiles). Lastly I love their queso chanco de oregano (strong white cheese with oregano and herbs mixed in it.
None of their products have any preservatives or added fake sugar. Their yogurt even has that yummy cream layer on top and have selective sizes. They use glass for almost everything too and their jars are great to reuse in your home kitchen.
