Casa Propia Parque forestal

Corro con una amiga en el Parque Forestal un par de veces a la semana y siempre pasamos por estas casitas. Un día escuchamos unos ladridos de cachorro y fuimos corriendo para allá. Había un par de cachorros que tenían máximo 1 mes — lindos, lindos! Después de darles harto cariño, decidimos terminar nuestra corrida y volver para llevarlos a nuestras respectivas casas. Sin embargo, una vez que volvimos, ya había gente rodeándolos y, al parecer, una familia decidió adoptar a los dos así, con mucha pena, me despedí de ellos y vi como sus nuevos dueños de 8 años se los llevaban
Ahora, cada vez que paso por ahi veo si hay mas cachorros y siempre llevo comida (por si acaso). Sin embargo, nunca he visto mas cachorros (gracias a dios porque con la adopción de un perro también tendría que arrendar un departamento mas grande jaja).
Si quieres saber mas de estas casas, puedes pasar por ahi durante los fines de semana cuando están los de «Perrito Feliz» (creo que ellos las construyeron para los perritos del parque).
En fin, estas casitas siempre tienen perros callejeros durmiendo adentro y es un lugar perfecto para encontrar tu próximo amigo de cuatro patas.

Santiago is filled with street dogs, they follow you home, chase cars in the streets and have their own little spot located in one of Santiago’s biggest parks.
In forestal park, right by Lastarria’s neighborhood there is a part of the park that is filled with about 10 dog houses. Periodically the «friends of the park» program hold adoptions here and little puppies arrive and await for someone to take them home with them. Lots of street dogs will also fill the little houses at night, keeping them warm during the winter months.
It is such a cool project that is located right in the park. I like to stop by and sometimes just hang out with the puppies. I would take all of them home with me if I didn’t live in a tiny apartment with my own little doggie darling. In the pup village (as I like to think of it) there is also food and water put out for the adoption pups and the dogs who pass by the park.
