Old World Bakery and Deli

I stopped a few times before work for a coffee and muffin, the coffee isn’t special but the baked goods real tasty

We stopped in for a quick lunch and had some of their sandwiches on fresh bread, they were delicious!

Great place for healthy and tasty home cooked food. They have great soups and sandwiches. Have breads and pastries to take out. Have had a transition in operators but have been maintaining and improving the fare. Limited seating but you can spread out into the atrium.

The baked goods here are mediocre at best. That being said, the sandwiches are still quite tasty. The hummus and dips are also good. The atmosphere is not the best, as their ancient drink fridge rattles incessantly. It would have been much nicer to have the seating area at the front of the bakery next to the large windows overlooking the street. Instead there is a monstrous wood fired oven there, which they unfortunately don’t even use.

This is the only place of it’s kind in Yarmouth. And thank God it exists! Although the Old World Bakery is Greek-​inspired, they branch into everything from Maritime to Arabic cuisine.
Their pastries, cookies and breads are all baked fresh everyday. As soon as you step in, you are greeted by a giant oven that takes up about ¹⁄₅^th of the bakery. And the smells wafting from this oven are just irresistible! All their sauces, soups, dips, etc. are made in house and boy, are they delicious. This is the only place in Yarmouth that you will find Tahini, hummus, and baklava.
They have a cute seating nook in the back and a small bar. Definitely not ideal for groups but a nice spot for a couple or a small group of friends. Come here for lunch or a nice snack !

Yummy, yummy, yummy! Everything is made fresh daily and from scratch. The breads and pastries are the best I have tasted in a long time. They smoke their own meats making their sandwiches tasty. The coffee is perfect, no bitterness and a mild tasting brew! I love it, you have to try it out. Highly reccomended!!!
