Hottexhaust

First of all, I knew I wanted a Magnaflow exhaust. I had the part number already sorted. For those that bought the wrong part… well do your homework people! I do suggest cross referencing the number on the Magnaflow site, just to be sure. HottExhaust at the time of my purchase was an authorized dealer, linked to from
dealer’s page.
Due the large number of (negative) filtered reviews, I decided to call HottExaust, to see what the before sales service was like. I got right through to John, and he knew from the part number what car I had; smart guy! I straight up asked him why all the negative reviews, and let him know that I was a fan of Unilocal!and would review him here after the sale. He reassured me they are an authorized dealer, and what sold it for me was I could use PayPal, so they will protect me if for some reason I never receive my product. After talking to John and seeing PayPal at checkout, that was all the reassurance I needed.
So why HotttExhaust? Price. Magnaflow has about 10 – 15 authorized dealers and I checked pricing on every single one. Hott just happened to be having a sale… while none of the others were. Not sure exactly how they keep prices that low, but my exhaust arrived within a few days, and is now on my car, sounding great. No issues with timing, or shipping. Ordered on a Wednesday, and received the following Tuesday I believe.
Bottom line: use PayPal, and maybe call to make sure he has it in stock prior to purchasing. If you don’t see a coupon banner on his site, then try a coupon site, mine was 40% off when no other «authorized dealer» had any sort of sale, not even 1%.

After a week of calling them I finally got my order. I saved a good chunk of money and in the end it was worth the trouble. Just sucks you have to be on top of them to get your order.
