My fiancé and I were referred by a friend to visit Desiree as we were looking for high quality kitchenware. We ended up buying a set of All-​Clad pots and pans and also some Le Creuset pieces. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. We will be going back here to buy our wedding favors.

I am getting married in Toronto, so decided to buy my wedding favours (bomboniere) in the city. I had one week to chose and order them, and then I had to leave town again. I must admit that I was incredibly picky, indecisive, and constantly changing my mind and direction.
I am so grateful that the staff here was incredibly patient with me, constantly pricing out new items in bulk and further researching other things I might like based on their attention to my comments. I really felt looked after. The selection was incredible, (perhaps a reason why I was so indecisive!) and of high quality and good taste. They carry just about everything and every name brand, it is very easy to find many solutions to a gift or wedding favour here.
Overall, from the many things I had to do to prepare for my wedding I was most indecisive with the favours and I’m sure I was a «high maintenance» customer. Desiree really made sure I was happy, always kept a good mood and open mind to how I can get to the point where I would be happy, and kept up the excitement of what a wedding meant and what it meant to give this gift to my guests. I can honestly say that I was most picky here, and yet most satisfied with the end result. At this point, I am more excited about the wedding favours than my cake and flowers and that has a lot to do with the people!

If you are gift shopping or decorating your house this is the place for you. Beautiful store filled with amazing inventory great costumer service and lots of designer items to choose from like Versace, Kate Spade, Lladro ect. I recommend you check it out for yourself. Worst china and gifts store in Toronto and the GTA! Clueless and dishonest staff. I was looking at both the Denby white french onion soup bowls and the Gordon Ramsay french onion soup bowls (both with lids). I was told the Denby were discontinued and final sale. As this was a gift, i decided to play it safe and i purchased the Gordon Ramsay bowls, i even said aloud that i would return them if they weren’t quite what he wanted. They knew it was a gift, they knew i wanted to return them if they were not suitable. The next day, i went to return them, and the exact same woman who assited me with the my purchase (blonde hair, heavy turquoise lower eyeliner) said that i could not get a refund, i could only get a credit note ONLY. I was furious. BEWARE of this store, they are not up front with their clientèle. I will also be posting this to the Better Business Bureau and elsewhere.
