Sushi Place

Fantastic sushi. Have been to a lot of the sushi restaurants in Winnipeg and on my one visit here for a small lunch, this was some of the best I’ve had. Odd location since it’s in the front of an Asian grocery store but don’t let that deter you. Tons of options for rolls and the menus are full page photos with descriptions of each roll. The lady running it was very nice and seemed to really care about what we thought. Prices were quite good but there was a good range as well. A lot of cheap rolls from $ 3 but also some really nice unique, fancy rolls in the more expensive price range around $ 10 or $ 11 each (still not that bad). Portion sizes were great as well. My spicy california came with 8 pieces where at most restaurants you’ll get 6.
Highly recommend this place. Not for big parties but you can do take out or catering if you want.
