Stella’s Bridal & Evening Collections

Went here with my sister for grad dress shopping. 2 girls were working when we arrived, one explained where the dresses were and said she would start us a dressing room when we picked out dresses… EIGHT dresses later, my sister can’t even carry them and the lady is no where to be seen so we go to the changing room area.
A woman and her daughter are there and she tells me that we should just start our own room because no one was/​had helped them either! There are four customers in the store and two employees… no one is being helped? I seriously could’ve walked out with like fifty dresses! No one was on the floor helping or watching anything, absolutely absurd.
I helped CLIP my sister into dresses, put away dresses she didn’t want, and help her get in and out of dresses. That is your only job and you can’t do it? Absurd.
Another woman and her daughter came in for a wedding dress– no one helped them and the mother of the bride actually asked us if we had been helped, we said no, she said how unhappy she was with the service as well.
That makes 6 different UNHAPPY customers in the span of an hour. So unhappy with the customer service here. Never returning or recommending this place to anyone.

The service was great when the staff got me to buy a dress that was $ 800 over my original $ 1000 budget. They told me that it would come in about 4 – 6 months, which was just fine.
In april, I went to order the remaining bridesmaids dresses and decided to inquire about the status of my dress. The owner told me that it should be there by the end of the month (April). First week of May, I had still not heard anything, so I decided to call. No big deal, the dress was delayed and should be here in two weeks. So end of May, I still haven’t heard anything, so again, I call because it’s now a month late.
So when I call, they tell me my dress is in Toronto and it should be in the second week of June. So, again, nothing. Last Friday I finally go down there to ask what the **** is up with my dress. I get the run around that it’s still in Toronto, that I have lots of time, and not to worry. Well, I am worried now because it’s the end of June, and I still don’t have a dress for my early September wedding. My girlfriend ordered from Stella’s last September and her dress only came 1 week before the wedding!!!
That’s ridiculous!
The staff at Stella’s have no idea when gowns will come in. They just make up dates to get you out of their hair. I am not impressed for having spent over $ 2500 there. I think I deserve better service than being told «you have lots» of time. It’s summer, I’ve got stuff to do. 2 months is not a lot of time when the only thing you’re waiting for is your dress!
Shame on you Stella’s!
