Description

Specialties

Owned by the same family for 38 years, the new Bistro serves classic French inspired food such as filet mignon, tourtière, crepes St Jacques and Manitoba bison

History

Established in 1970.

Resto Gare Bistro is found in a 1913 Train Station in Winnipeg’s French Quarter. The architecture is still old world, timbered beam ceilings and large old windows. The setting is cozy and romantic with a large fireplace in the new industrial chic design. Before renovations in 2008, it was Restaurant La Vieille Gare.
