Pieces Paradise is Winnipeg’s largest fair trade store that specializes in importing 100% authentic Indonesian handicrafts, home décor, furniture as well as original art and beautiful batik fabric.

Having an extensive network of local artisans gives us access to some of the world’s most spectacular handmade pieces. This also helps us find unique pieces that can be custom ordered.

History

Established in 2010.

Pieces Of Paradise was started after some extensive traveling through the exotic islands of Indonesia. We were introduced to many local artists and saw all the magnificent handcrafted treasures the islands had to offer.

After falling in love with the people, their culture and their land, we set out to open up a market that was not previously available to them.

Since then, we’ve developped friendships/​partnerships with 100’s of different artists from Java to Lombok and everywhere in between.

Our business, which operates under fair trade standards, has allowed us to help countless artisans improve their standard of living by providing a fair price for their products, access to interest free loans and our commitment to long term buying agreements.
