We ordered a sampler to split with baby back ribs, kapow shrimp, chicken wings, fries and smoked veggies. It was a pretty filling, hearty, meaty meal. The ribs were just a-ok because they didn’t melt off the bone. The Texas bold BBQ sauce was a good flavor though. I loved the breaded shrimp. There was a cheesy and sweet chili flavor to the breading that I liked. You wouldn’t think those two flavors would go together but it wasn’t overpowering. The chicken wings had a nice honey garlic flavor. The fries and smoked veggies were just meh, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t try to eat it all. Also had the mini apple cobbler for dessert with ice cream on top. It was the cutest dessert presented in a little mason jar! It’s just the right size to balance off a big meaty dinner. I would have liked more cobbler but ice cream and warmed sliced apples is always a win with me too. Place is pretty down right American for this Canadian city. It’s not a go-to but you can usually find something to satisfy.

Came here to spend the last $ 25 dollar gift card I had. My sister is under 18 so we sat in the dining room. Our server– Amanda, was super awesome! She was pretty busy because she seemed to be alone with around 5 – 6 tables but she did a great job. I had the veggie patty on a different burger, this wasn’t a problem and there were no extra charges. Everything tasted good(chain food, after all) and our drinks were always filled. I hate to give bad reviews after one experience, especially when it is related to customer service, because it differs from employee to employee. My last experience was bad because of the server, this experience was great because of the server. I recommend sitting on the dining room side when you come here.

I am not a big fan of chain restaurant like this so when the other couple decided to meet us here I went in with my usually reservations. In the end between the service and the food I was surprised they did OK. Will I be back,? I have learned to never say never, so it may happen
