History

Hi-​Tech Energy Windows is a name that has rapidly gained recognition for its commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.

There is a great deal of history that dates much earlier than 2001 when we first opened the doors to the original Hi-​tech Energy Windows facility at 1530 Erin St. Owner and President Ernie Sanders has been a part of the glass industry beginning in the early 1960’s and has successfully managed many well known glass companies across Canada.

In 1989 a transition was made from employee to employer when Security Glass Ltd. was opened in Winnipeg, MB. Since its inception, Security Glass has become the largest service glazier in Manitoba and continues to grow and evolve.

In 2001 Ernie opened Hi-​Tech Energy Windows Ltd. as a result of being unable to secure a window supplier that could meet the demands of Manitoba’s extreme climate while providing windows in a timely and efficient manner. This gave birth to the Hi-​Tech Millennium Window; a window system that
