Heavy D’s Lawn & Garden

I hired heavy d’s landscape back in November for lot grading, soil and sod.
After it Was done it looked great, just as it would if I or anyone did it themselves. I hired a professional to make sure it’s done properly and would last, unfortunately by the end of winter the sod didn’t take it became uneven, patchy, and in some spots it died. Now for just over $ 3500 I expect some sort of support from Heavy D’s landscaping so I called Daniel, he came by and acknowledged the lawn in its condition said it’s a common thing and he would be back the following week and have it all fixed up «it’s an easy fix» he said, I thought this is the kinda of service I can respect. I informed him I’d like them to do some more landscaping for me and that I also recommended him to my friends. The following week came and went, then another and another, I have tried multiple times to contact heavy d’s landscaping via text message, telephone and countless voicemails not once have I ever gotten a response back, until now. After 3 months They finally broke silence and contact me, but instead of calling me to fix their deficiencies I was told by him that I had 48 hrs to take it down or that I would be sued for slander. Just because I wrote an honest review.
Slander is false or malicious claims that will harm someone’s reputation. My claims are true I have photos and text messages of Heavy D’s landscaping acknowledgement of the deficiencies that needs fixing.
I’ve had every contractor come back after they have been paid in full to fix their deficiencies without hassle except heavy d’s landscaping.
So when looking for a landscaper you can hire heavy d’s landscaping just don’t expect any garentee of work or call back when you are unhappy with the job and if you post a Unilocal review he’ll just delete his company and repost it without your or any other reviews on it because I wasn’t the first to post a poor review on Unilocal.
This is my review of Heavy D’s landscaping based on my experience with this company.

I am writing this review, because of the terrible service that I have received (or did not receive) from Heavy D.
All I wanted was a power raking of my yard, I live in the city, so no big deal, right?
I phone numerous placed because of the urgency of the request. It was Thursday, I needed it by Saturday. (Had a big 70^th party happening).
They said no problem.
I did not see or hear from them. So, I phoned on Tuesday. Yeah, well we had «equipment issues».
Ok, I can understand that, but at least let me know. Requested again for the power rake.
They said no problem.
I again did not see or hear from them. So I phone the Thursday of the following week.
Spoke with «Dan?» (dont know which one) but he said the «other» Dan should have done this the week of the 10^th. Yes, you had equipment issues, but I was ASSURED that DAN was going to personally do this May 20^th, since it was obviously missed the previous week, and even the week before when I actually requested this.
So, guess what it still was not done.
Very poor, business practices.
I then emailed them asking about my lawn, they stated that they left me a voice msg… (wrong, then did not, and B… I was told it was going to taken care of personally)
I then told them to «please disregard»… I will not be doing business with them.
