Been to nicer Four Points properties. The staff was very nice but the rooms are a 6⁄10. Restaurant was decent.

Great rooms, comfy beds and pillows, steady hot water, clean rooms. Didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant yet, 24 hour gym. Walk from the airport :) only downside so far is right next to noisy prop planes so bring some ear buds for quiet sleeping :)

I’ve stayed her maybe 10 times and every single time have had an outstanding experience. All the staff are so polite and welcoming and very helpful, the shuttle bus & valet are great and the restaurant is really good. The menu is pretty large and variety is the word for sure for a hotel at the airport but the dishes are always great. Tonight ordered the Ruben(without sauerkraut) with salad and a nice draft Stella — it was fantastic !! There is a sports bar and a lounge as well. The lobby is so cozy with a nice warm fireplace and lots of spaces to sit and relax.

It was a brutally cold snowy winter’s night and I a weary traveler. I had arrived in Winnipeg that evening by bus, one that I had been traveling in for more than two days. I had a five hour layover ahead of me so I decided I needed to get away from the bus depot for awhile. I set out to do the four minute journey to the airport. My nose was freezing from the inside. I’d never experienced cold weather like this before. To my surprise, a minute into my walk I was at the entrance of a hotel. I cheerfully walked in and made my way to the restaurant. Once I looked over the menu the only thing I craved was ice cream and coffee. The waiter was nice and attentive. He only had three tables in use so the place wad pretty quiet. He brought out a presentable glass of light and flaky vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and cinnamon sprinkled over that. And with that a cup of decent house coffee. Even though temperatures were below freezing outside, all I wanted was a tasty ice cold treat. Afterwards, I went out to the lobby and sat next to the fire and watch the hockey game. Apparently it was a big game and Canada was in the lead which was an even bigger deal. All in all, it was a cozy night. At least for five hours…

Totally acceptable airport hotel. Staying walking distance to the terminal and not having to worry about a shuttle schedule makes all the difference. Clean and new rooms.

If you’re ever stuck at Winnipeg Airport and don’t have a ride, this is pretty much your only option for not sleeping in the terminal. To get here, leave the terminal, and cross the road, pass the rental car counters, and keep walking. There are signs but they are really poorly indicated. I had to look around several times to make sure I didn’t walk past the next turn. Walk down the long uncovered area, then turn R, walk to the side of the covered lot, then turn L and walk down another path. Parking is available in the covered lot out back. Why there are snow drifts all over the INSIDE, I can’t imagine. Crazy weather. The front foyer has some couches and tables. Staff are friendly. There is also a small snack bar(chips, pop etc) and boy are they overpriced. $ 4 for a bottle of juice? Thank you business expense account. You don’t really have a choice though, as the next nearest vending machines are back at the terminal, and aren’t much cheaper. As for the rooms? They’re definitely dated. My room was clean, but it looks like they did a partial renovation and forgot to complete it. There was this large dead-end area in my room where I think there was a desk at some point. See pics. If you don’t have a way off the airport, this is pretty much your only choice. Thank goodness the hotel is half-decent.

I have stayed here 3 times on my way to Thompson, MB, and the hotel is conveniently located right at the airport, you literally just cross the road and you are at the doorstep of the hotel. Beds are large and clean, I’ve never had any issues, and I’m usually just here at night for a 7 hour sleep before my flight to Thompson. It is a little expensive but it is much nicer than having to take a cab across town to get to any other hotel in Winnipeg.
