On the other hand, my driver seemed a little inappropriate. He was asking about my plans for accommodations so that he could recommend a hotel, and I let slip that I was having some trouble with my reservations. He insisted that I should come and stay at his home if I couldn’t straighten out the problem. He also said that he would have liked to drive me around town all night if I hadn’t mentioned that I was tired.
I can’t decide if this is just incredibly friendly or really inappropriate. But as a woman traveling alone, I found it pretty creepy and more than a little uncomfortable.
