Computer Avenue

The best customer service that I have ever had from a computer store in Winnipeg. Plus their knowledge and know how is also excellent. If you want garbage with no after sale support, then go to the bigger stores in the city. You may get it cheaper but try and get any help if you have any problems after you buy from one of those big places, I can guarantee the big places will do the absolute
minimum they have to, you’ll get the wrong parts, you will have to take it in 7 or 8 times to a bunch of incompetent repair staff, you will never deal with the same person twice due to their high staff turnover, it takes them forever, and in the end you will just have to take it to people like Computer Avenue who actually know what they are doing. Personally I would rather have quality and pay more for it than go through the garbage I have been through at the bigger places. But Winnipeg doesn’t want quality they want cheap. As long as people are gullible enough to buy into the illusion that they are getting a deal in the short term and would rather save a little now and pay way more later, there will always be shops like staples here to take their money several times over.

Overpriced! From memory to laptop coolers, all were significantly marked up compared to bigger stores. And maybe it’s just that day but staff just don’t look happy to help.
