The smell was amazing!!! The ambiance was new age or «hip» as elder folk would call it. My husband and I had the special which was a peanut butter and banana filled doughnut. I had the coffee and my husband got a cappuccino, everything was fantastic! The employees where friendly and happy. This was very nice since we where tourists and this was our first place we visited on our first time in Canada. The price was good since everything was fresh. Will be coming back!

I have had four different kinds of doughnuts from this place. Every single one has been exceptional. Each one has something incredibly dynamic about the toppings. The dough has excellent bite and a rich almost malty after taste. It’s a curious and wonderful flavour that makes me want to have more. The ones I’ve had have been very satisfying and I’m sure accompanied by a beverage of choice would be excellent. Unfortunately however I have never sat in the establishment nor ‘been served’ by any of the staff. My review is solely about the doughnuts and because of them I will return. But I can’t return, because I’ve never been. Take this review with a grain of salt and fond suggestion.

Can’t say that the donuts were worth the price tag. My hubby makes an awesome homemade donut(on a very rare occasion) and his donuts are tastier than bronuts, who make them for a living. Hmmm…

This was my second time at Bronuts. The first was OK since the donuts are tasty and fresh but the unwelcoming atmosphere from staff was surprising, i.e. not a hello or greeting of any kind. This time, one of the brother/owners packed up my donuts, without a single word or a glance at me, then pushed the box across the counter in my general direction. He may have grunted, I’m not sure, but he didn’t say a single word to me. I was astounded by that. I will never give Bronuts my business again. Because he certainly doesn’t deserve it. Ciao grumpy brother/owner!

Great hometown doughnut place, friendly staff, a little pricy, and I felt very hip eating at bronuts. I had the strawberry doughnut very dense and filling don’t eat anything before you go it will full you up! But delicious :)

I know everyone is saying that«they’re just fried dough» but I think that’s just code for«I prefer tim hortons» or «I’ve never actually made doughnuts» because anyone who has made doughnuts at home knows they are an ordeal. These doughnuts are the real deal, homemade, and they taste just like it too! They’re very light and fluffy, yeasty, and fresh. The price is a touch high(4 for $ 10) but you’re paying for quality and labour. I always get the Betty(cinnamon sugar) because I’m boring haha, but I’ve tried the lemon poppyseed, and peanut butter and chocolate and those were both really good too. I’m excited to try the iced lattes soon and hopefully some new flavours of doughnuts!

Fresh in-house made yeast donuts that have a good consistency without being too dense. You can get a donut and coffee for $ 5. The madison(peanut butter and chocolate) was pretty good — definitely more PB than chocolate so it’s not overly sweet. I split the Madison because one is too much for me considering the icing on it. You can get 10 donut holes for $ 2.75 — there were two flavours: vanilla glaze and cinnamon sugar. Both were good but I think the whole donuts tasted better than the holes… strange since it’s the same dough but I think the whole donuts offer up a better consistency while the smaller pieces dried out a tad. There aren’t a ton of flavours to choose from but there are specials from time to time along with the standbys like: Nutella dip(Nicolas), PB + Chocolate(Madison), Vanilla Glaze(Samuel), Cinnamon Sugar(Betty), and Lemon Poppyseed. Overall, nice place to grab to treat yourself to a donut. Located next to King + Bannatyne on King Street.

Bronuts is awesome. Friendly staff, awesome coffee and the legendary donuts. Show up early(before 10-ish) because they sell out of donuts pretty frequently. My personal favourite is the vanilla glaze but all are tasty.
