My friend and I were here for dinner on a Friday night. She ordered chicken wings and potato skins. I ordered the pickerel filet dinner. The food arrived after a 45 min. wait, and the only thing edible were the wings. Her skins were lukewarm and my fish was stone cold. We complained and the waitress offered to make it right. Now I elected to eat my cold fish because I was starving by then, and I did not want her to return with an overcooked piece of rubber. The skins went back, but we didn’t get them back until a good ½ hr. later(after asking about them) and they were lukewarm again! We never saw our original waitress again; no doubt she was too embarrassed to return to our table. They didn’t charge me for my fish dinner so I felt partly mollified, but I doubt I will go back.

We fancy ourselves soup officinados and the pureed mushroom soup had a little kick, packed full of flavor and started a new craving. Service was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Hot turkey gobbler comfort with a twist. As frequent diners in the city this will be our new local go to spot.

The food was decent enough. The stand out for me was the salad dressing on the house salad. The garlic butter brushed NY steak was done properly but had little flavour. I couldn’t taste garlic. Staff were heard arguing and seemed like they really needed training. My food order was in error and they did fix that fast enough. Nice enough place to visit.
