Today I received my order of plantable heart note favors. I am so impressed with this product and my overall experience with Botanical Paperworks that I would recommend them to anyone. The favors are well made. The envelopes and shape of the plantable paper is consistent for all the favors. All four colors I ordered are vivid and mostly true to what their site’s pictures show. The yellow (not mustard yellow) looks really light on the site and in person it is a more saturated color. I cannot wait to use them in my upcoming wedding!

These cards were a big hit with our guests. We held our wedding reception at the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. In keeping with the theme of plants and nature, I wanted something a little more ecologically responsible. This paper is made from recycled paper, and has seeds impregnated into it! My friends told me the wild flowers that sprouted look beautiful. We had a small message of thanks to the guests printed onto the front, instruction on how to plant the card on the back. No wasted knickknacks, which you sometimes get as thank you presents. My only regret is that I didn’t snag one myself, too much going on at the end of the night Tips: 1. they automatically printed the directions on the back, I had wanted to write something on the back of some of them. 2. I used cards that were supposed to be tags for favors, these are about the size of business cards, big enough for our purpose and less expensive than larger cards.

Today I got the favors for the reception. The service I received from Botanical PaperWorks was awesome — from the conversations I had with them to the delivery of the items as promised. They kept me informed along the way so I knew exactly when they were being shipped. I am so glad that I found them on the web, they provide ‘beautiful, handmade, plantable and eco-​friendly’ items. The hearts with seeds are so beautiful and artsy — I don’t know if I will be planting the ones we keep.
