Along with a Ph.D. in Counselling, Gillian Robbins brings 10-​plus years of experience treating primarily women and female adolescents with issues such as stress, trauma, abuse, anger, depression, anxiety, professional and personal relationships, goal achievement, divorce, grief and loss, poor self-​esteem, guilt/​shame and more.

Gillian Robbins is the founder, president and sole professional counsellor at Transformations Counselling Services. Over the past 10+ years, Transformations Counselling Services has been dedicated to providing counselling and consulting services primarily to women, couples, and families within Windsor and Essex County, and Detroit, Michigan.

While Gillian Robbins addresses many client issues, anxiety is a key area of specialization and interest. As a result, in addition to using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy and Existentialism, Gillian Robbins has integrated Mindfulness as a major component of her practice.

Gillian Robbins graduated with a PhD in Counselling (specialization — Rehabilitation Counselling) in 2013, and a Masters of Arts in Rehabilitation Counselling and Community Inclusion (2002) from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Gillian Robbins also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Windsor, Ontario (1998).
