First of all I wish I could rate this restaurant more than 5 stars. It’s a cute little place and the location is safe and friendly. I had the blacked fish sandwich with a side of yam chipotle soup that was absolutely delicious! And for drink I had the apple cold tea and it was very refreshing. The staff is very nice, and generous! I would recommend this restaurant for anyone that is looking for great food that’s a reasonable price! A+++ food I love this place!

I had the rib-eye steak sandwich and it melts in your mouth, everything was up to par and my family and I absolutely enjoyed it. The atmosphere is good, calming music, and was a very clean place. Definitely a spot I’ll come back too

Great sandwiches for a reasonable price. They do offer gluten free bread as an option but not whole wheat.

What a great little spot to eat! Went there just last evening and we had a blackened fish sandwich, a pulled pork and also a Porchetta. The flavour was great on all 3 — I sampled everything. The ciabatta buns were fresh. The soup was great — Yam Chipotle — and it had a little kick to it also which was great. The atmosphere was quaint and the service was quick and friendly. Price is great for what you get. My wife got a side salad and loved the warm bacon dressing — I mean really, can you go wrong with the words ‘warm’ and ‘bacon’ in the same title of a salad dressing. No, you just can’t. I would recommend this little jewel on Wyandotte to anyone. Finally, the décor(someone likes planes) was fun and interesting to read also. A winner in my books.

The food here is amazing. Very fresh and creative ingredients. The fries were the best I had in a long, long time. Will come back every time I’m in Windsor.

This is a great place for a good quality sandwiches. Although I wasn’t completely in love with the food, it is good enough that I would like to visit again. And their music — they played a lot of jazz classics — was great. Nice little interior. Good vibes. Would recommend!

Wow! Gourmet sandwiches at Subway prices. All the sandwiches are fresh and the porcetta is made on a daily basis. Once it’s done for the day you need to come back the next! Menu is on a chalkboard. Pricing is for half or whole sandwich. How can you go wrong for a porcetta sandwich for $ 7.99. The blackened fish sandwich is amazing. Small seating area up front. Restaurant run by a husband and wife from Vancouver. Definitely will be back!!!

I have to laugh at the review from Peggy P. Come on Peggy, let me caress your arm, it will be ok… lol Anyways, now for my review of The Carvery… I have been here quite a few times now and I will be definitely be coming back. The Carvery is a great little place and their niche is the Porchetta sandwich and I would say that it is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had… when I walk in, I walk right up to the counter and caress the owner’s arm(I am hetrosexual, but I worship his sandwich) and order from their menu, then I have a seat and the food is brought out soon afterward and very fresh. All the meats used in The Carvery’s sandwiches are roasted fresh in house. There are no cold cuts here in sight. Their offerings include braised beef, herb chicken, pulled pork and rib-eye steak. The Prochetta is not the traditional Italian spin here as it has no fennel, but wow is it ever good. When I asked the owner how he was making this creation, he did not hesitate… they take the pork shoulder and butterfly it and marinate it in herbs & spices… then they roll it up and then take a pork belly which we also marinate on the inside … and they wrap that over the top and tie it on to make a roast… it is then put into the oven for hours to roast until perfection. The sandwich is served on a homemade ciabatta bun and the porchetta is served finely chopped to for a equal distribution of crispy skin and juicy pork. The sandwich is then topped with honey dijon mustard, greens, red onion and thin apple slices. The apples give it a crunch and provide a contrast to the taste… so good. I feel bad that in my six to eight visits in the past year, I have not ordered anything else here and I am sure other things on the menu are just as good. I would put this sandwich right up along side of my other favorite pork sandwich which is the Cudighi sandwich from Ralph’s in Ishpeming and that is saying a lot ! Ralph’s is a holy place in the U.P. to many Yoopers…

Porchetta sandwich and fries. PMG I have never had a sandwich I have enjoyed more. My only regret is that this place is not located closer to the Toronto area. Almost worth the drive all on its own. I’ll be back next week for business. I am already planning my lunch for that week to include the Carvery. Mike and his wife do have a home run here. Actually mike just took my money. His wife made the sandwich. Who cares. Great team and even better restaurant.

Amazing selections of sandwiches, well thought out. I’m the kind of guy to change everything on a menu and looking at their options I sat back and let him decide for me! Great staff, excellent friendly service, DELICIOUSSANDWICHES. GOHERE…’nuff said

Today at 4:35pm Went today for the first time… wow. Was met with the expressionless face of what I found out was the owner. No, «Hi, how ya doing?» Or «Welcome to the Carvery!» Just a «what can I get ya…» We placed our order, sat down and was presented with our plates in a reasonable amount of time, about the only plus. The sandwiches were just OK… nothing that made me say WOW! But its what came after that turned my stomach. The owner proceeded to sit down at a table and was joined, by who I assume, was his wife. All was fine until she stood up, proceeded to step between his legs and start caressing his arms!!! If that wasn’t bad enough, he goes on to do a full butt grab of her and place his face directly onto her chest… I was just waiting for the motorboat action to begin! It was at that point I could take no more and had to leave. That was conduct unbecoming of a professional and totally unacceptable in public view of your customers. There was another table of guests in there besides myself and my guest, and no matter, it should NOT have happened. You have lost at least two customers because of your inability to keep your hands to yourselves. I would not want you making my food!!!
