Sandy’s Riverside Grill

We come here all the time. Very welcoming staff. food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend the Tuesday coney dog deal!

My family’s go-​to for a local easy meal in a casual setting. The staff is really accommodating and the food is more than decent. My favourite? Coney dog Tuesdays! And the client appreciation nights are the best!

Got California chicken sandwich. Would have been delicious except for chicken tasted rubbery. Otherwise delicious. Poutine was great too!

Good place in an off location
Sandy’s Riverside Grill really isn’t by the Riverside, but they are located fairly close but far out from campus. Tecumseh locals should take notice though because it is a really nice place to grab a pint. The place itself is very clean and a bit modern and upscale for a sports bar. The clientele seem a bit older and the menu offers up some quality eats Service was alright. Server could have cracked a smile but she was good.
The place has real potential as they offer up some nice menu items for a bit steeper price than you see at similiar places. We came around when it was 2−4−1 wings (Wednesday) and they were good. For over $ 10 they should be really good. You get about 6 wings per order so it was 12 jumbo wings total. They could have given more seeing as how many other places scattered around Windsor offer up similiar wings, but they were good. Sandy’s sauce and BBQ wings were great. The wings were really crisp and sauced perfectly. Sandy’s was said to have a bit of a kick but it was overwhelmingly sweet. Still enjoyed it though.
We also got a cup of their soup which was a chicken egg drop. It was a bit bland but a bit of salt and pepper made it real good. Minced chicken made it a pretty hearty soup and it was good
Not really much else to say. Feel as though I ought to write up a review and get people to know the place. It’s really nice. The place is clean and the menu is interesting with items like NY Strip sandwiches, or great sounding burgers. Prices are a bit higher than other sports bars like it, but I do feel as though they may have the quality to back it up. Will have to give other foods a shot, but for right now, its solid.
