Burger could have been seasoned a little better, my wife and I both had the Deux Chevaux Burger. It came with caramelized onions, Gruyère cheese, Dijon Mustard and some greens. It was well put together. I had a side of poutine and my wife had the side salad with house balsamic dressing. The burgers also came with a tiny bit of slaw and a pickle, both were good. I don’t know why but for whatever reason I can’t find the photo of the burger or the poutine, that really pisses me off. Stupid cell phone. Food is good, service is good and I love the décor. I even loved the sink in the bathroom. Food ALWAYS taste better in Canada then the states. Poutine was good, but i’ll say it again” the best poutine is in Quebec”.

I’m going to focus on the beer for this review. The food at Motor is good, but for me it’s all about the beer here. Motor Craft Ales has been steadily growing and getting better over the past few years and at this point they are making the best tasting beer in Windsor. They seem to always have many small batches of different styles(variety) with some exciting results. Yes they may not have your«favourite«when you show up, but if you go with an open mind and a thirsty palette you will not be disappointed. I’m thrilled to see where they take this.

Just a short drive over the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor you will find delicious food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere waiting for you at MotorBurger. I understand not everyone is going to be a fan, and some may think they are overpriced, or they under-deliver, but for me and my dining companions, we think this place is great! The layout is fantastic, long and narrow, the tables are not packed in and the noise level is really decent considering every time I’ve been there all tables have been seated. The bar area is also very inviting and would be perfect if you are dining solo or with just one other person. The décor is funky and fun, with very unique lighting, and one wall being chalkboard with great drawings of cars(what else). The other wall has pinkish/purple lighting and cows and cars cutouts. But don’t for a moment think this place is all about burgers — they do have them, and they are great, but they offer so much more than beef burgers. They have salads, soup, and many sandwiches that are not beef. Looking at the menu you will see single or supercharged. A supercharged sandwich will consist of 2 portions of meat. A supercharged side is big enough for 2(actually more like 3 or 4). I truly think they have something for everyone. Tasty offerings sampled so far include: Poutine — I’m far from an expert having only tried it a couple times, but I think this rendition was comforting and yummy. They do not skimp on the cheese or gravy! Onion Rings — crispy and delicious. Hint — they pair great with the horseradish chive dipping sauce! Fries — twice fried and topped with herbs, sea salt and parm cheese. Ask them to go light on the salt if you don’t like super salty foods Burgers — cooked to perfection, delicious bun, and generous toppings. Tip — make sure you really love blue cheese if you order the Autostrada Twin Barracudas aka fish sliders — probably my least favorite item. It was tasty but this was one time I felt they were(very) skimpy — hardly any fish Club Circuit — both people who had this sandwich could not stop raving about it. I was like it’s chicken… and then I tried a bite — yum! Mac & Cheese — not the best, far from the worst. A decent alternative to fries or O-rings Deep fried cheesecake — meh… it was good for that one bite of sweet after a highly fattening meal, but that’s all I really wanted was one bite. Next time I will have a shake. The burgers are served with a pickle spear and a little smidge of slaw. That slaw is a wonderful two or three bites of crunchy sweet deliriousness. In fact, you can order it as a side dish add-on to your burger. I would suggest that! Here’s the best thing about lunch or dinner at MotorBurger — Sandra. Ask for her, she will do everything to enhance your dining experience. And that’s what it is, an experience. You’re not just going in for a burger, you’re going for an experience. As their menu says, ‘sit back and enjoy the ride’!!

We came in near closing, so staff were a bit rushed & brusque. We ordered poutine which was alright, nothing extra special to be honest. They split our check very kindly, but obviously wanted to get us out of there ASAP. They were also out of ice cream so we couldn’t order any shakes.

Motoburger offers a really nice menu. Selections of everything from lamb, veg, Kobe beef and spicy chicken options. Really delicious and fresh. The Mac N cheese is amazing They have a super selection of craft beer as well. I tried the Jalapeño and it was really good. The staff is super friendly and great service. The atmosphere is very casual. Parking is the only small issue… there is only street parking or a city lot around the corner.

«Saw it on Food Network Show: „You Gotta Eat Here“ and absolutely agree» When visiting places I don’t know very well, I always check if the show«you gotta eat here» recommends any places. This was one of the places, as well as recommended on a website called«Windsor Eats» which is a good sign. Anyways, I visit a lot of craft burger places, and this is one GREAT craft burger. They offer gluten free buns and lettuce wraps. Burgers are made fresh to order, with good local meat and ingredients. This was a great stop and if you’re looking for a burger, go to this place. Fun atmosphere, all of the burgers are named after classic and sports cars. The décor, lighting and tables are nice to look at. THe fries come with a nice parmesan mix. I’ve eaten the Kobe burger and the latin spice burger and both are great. Very filling and hearty. Definitely try this place out if you’re looking for a good burger while in «Downtown Windsor»

Let me start off by saying that my standards for good burgers are pretty high. Having experienced Au cheval’s burger and an avid in-n-out fan, I was looking forward to motorburger’s burger. I ordered the duex chevaux and the fries. The burger was good, but I didn’t feel as if it was anything spectacular. The fries looked fantastic, but the taste was just ok. I will say that motorburger gets major points for service. The people who work there are super attentive and helpful.

Heard a lot of hype around this place, so I went in with high expectations. Generally, they were met. I would advise against the chickpea burger, however, as it was a tad dry. Service was okay.

Tried the Classic Motor Burger and the Lamb-orghini burger. I should mention that I’m not a fan of burgers. But I was stupidly in love with the Classic Motor Burger. This is one restaurant I’d go back to more than twice just to get the Classic Motor Burger(which says a lot… for me anyways). It was delicious, filling, larger than I expected of an 8oz burger, and flavourful paired with the motor sauce. The Lamb-orghini…not so much. The goat cheese seemed to be present to cover up the taste of the lamb. It was also slightly dry. Lamb is –usually– one of those that hardly ever fails to disappoint. Can’t say it didn’t here. Service was good. No complaints there. Unique layout, which somehow works. Cozy atmosphere. TV’s are available to watch games. Nice place to chill with some friends and have a couple drinks.

Easily one of the brightest gems on the sparkling necklace of restaurants that is Via Italia. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. A trifecta that can’t be beat. Definitely worth a visit or three.

It’s worh the trip to cross the US-Canadian border and tried their Gourmet burgers & some sides. Burger meat were fresh, juicy, & delicious. The sweet potatoes & onion are crunchy & tasty to our delight. Server was attentive, & we had a complimentary pin. How sweet. The atmosphere was very cozy. Will comback again when we get the chance.

We usually eat at Mamo but yesterday we decided to give MotorBurger a shot, especially since we both were in the mood for beer with our meal and the beer selection is horrendous at Mamo. The burger at MotorBurger was fine, but not worth the money. The texture is dry and crumbly, it’s a loosely packed but overcooked patty with no pink at all on the inside. Possibly par-cooked? A good burger should have juice running down your arm, nothing like that here. The burgers come a la carte for over $ 9 each and they don’t even have the courtesy to serve it with a side dish, nor the toppings that make a sandwich worthwhile. Add cheese and bacon for a whopping $ 3.50 while they nickel and dime you by charging $ 1.25 just for requesting a squirt of «Motor Sauce» on your sandwich. Order a pathetically small portion of VERYBLAND Mac and cheese or poutine to your burger for a whopping $ 7 on top of all the other surcharges and you’re in $ 25 – 30 territory per person WITHOUT drinks. Beer was only«ok» at best, not cold enough and served In a small tulip glass that’s nowhere near a pint for $ 6 each. To top it off, the service was terrible. Couldn’t tell you my waitress name because she never once bothered to check in after taking our order. Any other items we needed came from asking other servers that was not even our own. I’m actually pissed that I even left a $ 5 tip because they didn’t even deserve that. Wish I took note of the waitress name, an older lady with brown hair, because she is just awful. Can do a lot better for a lot less IMO PS — hygiene is not great at this place. Tables were sticky and full of residue from past diners, and the cheesy laminated menus are sliced up and full of nasty brown stains from spilled pop or God knows what

While the patty was quite tasty, the overly dry bun somewhat ruined the taste experience. In addition, the prices were about 40% inflated next to a comparable hamburger. Not worth returning to.

A new burger experience for us during a hockey trip to Windsor this weekend. The lamb burger with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes was outstanding. The chicken club could have been marinated to add more flavor and the peameal bacon was in short supply on the sandwich. The sweet potato fries with parmesan cheese and herbs was the best we have had anywhere. We will be back next winter to try 2 more selections. I am sure we will not be disappointed.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! I swear they’ve changed their patty since I was here last. It wasn’t as big and juicy as it normally is(wasn’t the only one who thought this). I even asked our server about the patty and she said that sometimes it depends on who makes it, owner or someone else. As for the Fire bird, the chicken patty was so spicy and trust me, not in a good way. Kind of overpowered the burger itself. I love this place but based on the quality of food, I’m gonna have to knock it down one star. I was really disappointed in the quality of the food today. I still have faith in you Motor Burger, so I’ll be back to give you another chance. Ps. Service is awesome here. Servers are great and the food wait isn’t long at all, especially since it was a busy Saturday.
