This is a nice comfy diner to go too! I have gone for only breakfast they also offer takeout which is good for those who live in the area and are looking for breakfast in bed! All homemade meals. Very homey feel, the owner a cute old woman often roams around the restaurant and greets customers. They also sell cabbage rolls and pies on order. Verry affordable price! Only issue would be to add some more flavor to the food. Sometimes it would be packed and it was a small restaurant so go there early or late enough on a sat sun morning.

I went there for lunch the other day. Perfect place for comfort food. The staff were wonderful the food was just like mom would of made. I had the hot hamburg sandwich which was shockingly good.

Awesome food. Best breakfast in the city. Been coming for 9 years now and it’s the same great food all this time.

Food is subpar — had a spoiled breakfast steak there years ago & owner/manager refused to admit the steak had passed or eradicate the charge. I thought enough time had passed(6 years) to try again = bad idea– simplified my order but again was almost completely disappointed– there are way too many good breakfast places to ever eat here again —

We stopped in for breakfast after playing a hockey game and were allowed to put two tables together to fit the team — always a plus in my book. We were really happy with our meals. The pancakes were very good. Coffee was included in the price of breakfast — the prices over all were very reasonable given the quantity of food received. We unknowingly came in toward their closing time on a Saturday and were easily accommodated and made to feel welcome. We parked on the street next to the restaurant — I’m not sure if there was a parking lot nearby or not. Overall, I’d probably give it 3 ½ stars if I could. The scrambled eggs were more flat than fluffy which is why I went for the three rather than the four star rating, but that might just be a matter of preference on my part. They had a lot of Eastern European food(pierogies, etc.) on the menu when looked very tempting as well.
