Holiday Inn Windsor Downtown

Everyone in the hotel is really friendly.
I had breakfast at the hotel and the food was great, again fast and friendly service.
The A/​C and hot water weren’t working when I arrived — called maintenance and left, and came back to a operational room. The hotel is indeed in need of an update, but I don’t think it has the means to do so. Central location close to everything downtown.
The wifi internet in my room (very last room at the end of the hall) didn’t work for the entire 4 days I was there, despite a number of calls to technical service and the front desk.

This hotel is located right in the heart of Downtown Windsor. It is walking distance to absolutely everything you could possibly want to do while visiting the city.
The rooms are always kept immaculately fresh and clean and the view from the upper floors provides breathtaking eye candy of the horizon. Although the rooms facing Ouellette Ave can be a little noisy at times due to the sound from surrounding night clubs, this is never an issue for those who love feeling the pulse of a vibrant downtown core brought to life.
The best part is that if you are a business traveler and need that late night quiet, the incredibly hospitable Front Desk staff are more than happy to accommodate you with a room on the east side of the building, which overlooks the Windsor-​Detroit Tunnel and provides a tranquil view of Windsor’s natural beauty to the East.
If you’re looking for things to do downtown, stop in and ask any of the knowledgeable Guest Service Representatives for community calendars, maps of attractions, a restaurant directory or directions to a local hot spot. They know it ALL.
Just how good is this place? It was the hotel of choice for the CUPE conference, The Red Bull Air Races, The Breast Cancer Awareness Tour and countless other delegates from various organizations, sports teams and groups.
If you want to see hospitality done right, this is the place to be.

Location of this hotel is great right downtown. Never however in my life have I opened up the windows of my room and looked down at a border crossing (Windsor — Detroit tunnel). Was a bit of noise from the border but otherwise hotel was fine. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This hotel does need a refurb however as the place shows some age!

Restaurant food was just OK. I had a chicken club sandwich and horrible frozen onion rings.. Service was very slow!

I think this is the right one. There seems to be two.
Me & Jack won $ 500 gambling on my birthday! We decided to get a room rather than drive the tunnel and miles to B’Ham.
The bar had a Smiths cover band. Our room had french doors that opened up to a lovely patio offering up view of the river and skyline. It just didn’t get any better that night.
