Improved weight loss, cardiac fitness, strength & flexibility are what our clients experience at Core Physique Personal Training & Nutrition Studio. We achieve this by coaching you through brief, moderate to high intensity functional interval sessions, using a mixture of your own body weight, free weights, and machines. We also track your body composition, & supply you with a dietician designed meal plan to help you reach your fitness goals.
History
Established in 2012.
Core Physique started out as an extension of my own renewed love for nutrition & fitness. My health wasn’t bad, but I knew I wanted to adopt healthier habits, as my cholesterol, & love handles were sneaking up and out. So I began to eat healthier foods, & get back into gym. As my fitness levels improved, I was asked by coworkers for advice on becoming more fit. Not suprisingly, I really enjoyed helping them, so I got my fitness trainer certification through ISSA. Also, with a background in healthcare (respiratory therapy), I decided that I’d like to help people with their health from a «preventative» stance, rather than from an «interventional» point of view. So, I renovated my garage, and created a very nice modern space to train clients one-on-one.

Business Owner
I am concurrently working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at a major hospital in Detroit. I became certified as a fitness trainer through International Sports Sciences Association in 2012. My goal is to eventually work full time as a fitness/health/nutrition coach. I really enjoy working with people who have very little experience working out, & are deconditioned, but wary of the «big box» gym environment. And although we have fun, there’s no leaning on machines to socialize, or talking on cell phones. Our clients come in, and are ready to focus on pushing themselves, & that’s why our clients like the one-on-one sessions. They get results.
