good food and good atmosphere. love going there for a traditional North American breakfast. the burgers and sandwiches are decent too. great customer service too. definitely worth checking out.

Back in the middle of Windsor in what seems to be a industrial area is where you will find the «Back Road Café» and when you drive by, it will look more like a Heating & Cooling Co. than a restaurant… but the parking lot will probably be full, a tip-off of a great restaurant, and in this case, I can say that I have been here a half dozen times now… always for breakfast and it has been great !
Always fairly descent service… they get busy on the weekends… the earlier the better.
The Eggs Benedict with peameal bacon is righteous… some of the best home fries too that I have ever had. Toast with real butter… they’re not messing around here. Peameal heaven…

Went here for breakfast having read about this on Unilocal.Was very pleased with the quality and quantity. This is a greasy spoon restaurant so expect accordingly. Service staff was friendly

This is my family’s favourite everyday restaurant. We go there at least once a week because the food is good, the staff are like family, and it’s inexpensive. I usually order the eggs and homefries (I ask Nina to cook my potatoes extra crispy because she does them perfectly). My husband says their veggie omelet is like no other and my son loves their chicken strips and fries. Sometimes there is a crowd waiti g to be seated but it doesn’t take them long to find us a table.
