Owner Kim Reid has provided leadership of Atlantic Canada’s security industry for more than three decades and this is not about to wane. He is a highly successful and recognized business owner, entrepreneur and advisor.

Kim and a business partner founded Accurate Security in 1982 which was Chubb Security’s exclusive mechanical systems representative in Atlantic Canada.

Today, Accurate is owned by Chubb Security, a wholly-​owned subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation (UTC).

In 19 925 Kim started EVS and made it into one of the fastest growing and most recognized security companies in Atlantic Canada. The acclaimed multi-​million dollar venture was acquired by Stanley Security Solutions, the Fortune 500 global security giant in 2004.

Kim’s experience in the security field is well known and highly respected by the financial institutions he has worked supported over the last 3 decades.
