Essence of L Medi Spa & Laser

I can’t even find the words to express how happy I am with the results I’ve achieved from Leah. I had my initial consultation about two months ago and I’m just in shock with the 180 degrees that my skin has done. I’m thirty years old and have struggled with acne on and off since I was about 12. I’ve been on harsh medications, antibiotics and have seen multiple dermatologists throughout these years, all who just want to prescribe drugs.
I didn’t want to go back down that route and thankfully found Essence of L, which is conveniently super close to where I live. During my initial consultation with Leah (which went well over an hour), we went over everything from my diet, lifestyle, skin care products I was currently using, everyday products I used etc. In my past experiences, these types of situations were very intimidating for me, yet she made it super comfortable, casual and professional. She instructed me to remove certain things from my diet and lifestyle, also set me up with a new home care routine, and gave me informative literature and guidelines that directly related to my skin condition. But not only did she just sell me the products and send me home, she actually followed up with me to see how things were going, answered my multitude of questions I would ask her, and showed a genuine care and passion in helping me. It wasn’t even a week later that my skin started clearing up. I’ve never in my life had results like this. I’ve since seen her for two treatments and each time I leave with a huge smile on my face and just such gratitude. It also doesn’t hurt that she gives you a fresh flower after each appointment… how unique and thoughtful is that? My skin doesn’t even feel like my skin. I know that sounds crazy, but anyone who has dealt with acne knows how depressing and painful it can be. It’s the biggest relief of my life knowing that there is a solution to it. I honestly wish that every teenage boy, girl, adult etc. who has had the same issues I’ve had to deal with two thirds of my life, could meet Leah and find the relief that I’ve found. I tell everyone I know about Essence of L, mostly because they tell me how good my skin looks and ask me what I’ve been doing different.
All I know is, there are a lot of estheticians out there now a days that can do many things well, however Leah is an esthetician that does what she does extremely well, and that is skin. I know other women that see her for other issues (aging, brown spots etc.) and have nothing but praise for her. Her knowledge and passion for what she does just radiates from the moment you meet her. I don’t trust anyone but Leah with regards to my skin and I recommend her to everyone I know.

I found Essence Of L Medi Spa on beauty + wellness TV. At the time I was just grabbing whichever facial treatment I could get on Groupon, but really wanted someone who could get to know me and my skin to recommend a custom program for my concerns (wrinkle prevention, dark spots from the sun along my cheek bones). I made my first appointment with Leah in January 2015 and haven’t gone anywhere else since!
At times I can be a touch squeamish about treatments, but Leah explained everything very well and gave me reading material to help me make an informed decision. Since then I’ve had 2 Dermapen treatments, 1 forever young treatments, 2 skin tightening, 2 photo facials, 1 universal contour body wrap, and 4 laser hair removal treatments — all constantly amazing with stunning results… At the end of this summer I actually had fewer brown spots than I ever had before. It was definitely the combination of the laser treatment and physician grade skin care.
As a women in her early 40s — who still occasionally gets IDed at restaurants — I couldn’t be happier with the quality and treatment of my skin! I would highly recommend Essence Of L Medi Spa. Go see Leah!
