Nagomi Sushi has a menu that includes many traditional items such as Chirashi, Salmon Kama Shioyaki, an extensive fresh nigiri selection, Tskune and Yakitori. However, there are also many new and innovative items such as the Mango Roll, Kani Blossoms, The Red Dragon Roll… and of course the popular Spicy Agadashi Tofu. Nagomi Sushi also offers many vegetarian options as well as items for customers who are looking for something other than fish.
History
Established in 2008.
Opened in December of 2008, Nagomi Sushi is owned and operated by two long term local Whistler residents, Hayahiko «Speedy» Takada and Shizuo Kashino. With a combined 30 years of experience they left their jobs at a different sushi restaurants they had been working at together, to open their own place and make a go of it.
For three years now, Nagomi Sushi has been attracting return customes from Whistler and beyond.
