I haven’t visited the store, but was glad to find it in the Alpine Meadows market. An ice cream enthusiast, and having never forgotten a gelato-​or-​two-​a-​day-​never-​hurt-​anyone vacation in Florence, I’m hard to please. I found the gelato light, very flavourful, and a smooth, even texture. In my opinion, smooth texture is the toughest thing to accomplish in ice cream and gelato. Really great flavour collection. We had the salted caramel, perfect!
Same price as HD and B&J in the market and it’s local.

Their gelato is much lighter than most other gelatos, and I think their fat/​calorie content is slightly lower, too. Their gelato hits the spot even on a cold day in the snow. Definitely try their hazelnut kiss, which tastes like a ferrero rocher candy. They’re also available at many markets in the area.
